Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will be able to understand the spatio-temporal adaptation of macrophages to their anatomical niche, and link it to the concept of trained immunity.
Upon completion, participants will be able to understand the difference between tissue-resident and monocyte-derived macrophages, and to investigate macrophages' biology and functions in vivo in mice.
Upon completion, participants will increase their skill in conducting translational research for respiratory medicine.
