Upon completion, participant will be able to define the classical and non-classical roles of regulatory T cells in maintaining immune and tissue homeostasis.
Upon completion, participant will be able to describe how regulatory T cell impairments, including their induction, function and stability, contribute to the development of islet autoimmunity and progression to overt type 1 diabetes.
Upon completion, participant will be able to list a set of novel approaches of regulatory T cell targeting aiming at the future context-specific manipulation of regulatory T cells in type 1 diabetes.
