Brigitte-Carole Keumatio is a forth-year PhD student in the department of Molecular Cell Biology and Immunology at the Amsterdam University Medical Center. She received an Erasmus Mundus Master's degree in International Vaccinology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in Spain, the university of Antwerp in Belgium and Universite Lyon 1 in Lyon, France. She received a bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from the University of Buea in Cameroon. Her current research focus in the research group of Yvette van Kooyk is in the development of sialic acid-modified allergen glycoconjugates to target tolerogenic receptors on immune cells to induce allergen-specific tolerance.
