Dr Ben Raveney is a senior Research Scientist at RIKEN, Japan. He completed his doctorate degree in immunology at University of Bristol, UK and he has since been working on autoimmune disease at the National Institute of Neuroscience, NCNP, Japan. He has been working on models of different subtypes of multiple sclerosis and neuroinflammation as well as clinical immunology. His current research interests include pathogenic T cells in autoimmune diseases and a role of gut microbiota in multiple sclerosis, with a focus on translational immunology and identification of T cell-related biomarkers in human disease.
