Dr. Oluwabunmi (Bunmi) Olaloye is an Instructor of Pediatrics in the Division of Neonatology and junior faculty in the Konnikova Lab at Yale School of Medicine. She received her M.D from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and her neonatology fellowship at the Univesity of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Her research interests include deciphering the role of immune dysfunction in necrotizing enterocolitis to identify biomarkers and therapeutic targets. She is also interested in immune-epithelial interactions in the pathogenesis of neonatal spontaneous intestinal perforation
