Dr. Rebecca Nickle is a Technical Applications Scientist in the Marketing department at BioLegend Inc. As an Applications Scientist, Dr. Nickle’s research projects aim to conduct deep cellular characterization of ex vivo activated T cells utilizing a wide range of BioLegend’s powerful applications. She received a B.S. in Biology and B.A. in Chemistry (2015) from East Carolina University, and a Ph.D. in Immunology (2021) from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. In her dissertation research, Dr. Nickle studied the ex vivo stabilization of human Regulatory T cells and the manipulation of low-zone IL-2 environments favorable for Treg outgrowth.
