Marcelo Hill is MD from the University of the Republic (Uruguay) and PhD in Immunology from Nantes University (France). He is associate Professor in Immunology at University of the Republic, head of the Laboratory of immunoregulation and inflammation at Institut Pasteur Montevideo. He is an international member of the Centers of Excellence committee from the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies (FOCIS). Dr Hill is founder and CSO of the Startup ARDAN Pharma. His main scientific focus is to study inflammasome regulation by ion channels in cancer immunotherapy.
